Take two of these and call me in the morning...

I have only been making incremental progress on multiple minis. This last month or so has been pretty busy.

Anyway, here is a WIP of a Nurgle aligned Dr./Chirurgeon. He, and his little servo-assistant will accompany a rogue -]|[- that I am also working on and will reveal soon.

I am planning on adjusting the brass-rod that the servo-assistant is attached to, in order to make it sway a little bit back. It is not glued at this point however, and the weight of the servo-head will not let it stand up. So, as soon as I am less tired and have a little less beer in me, I will make the adjustment.

More Drone WIPs

Added some tubing and basing to the Drone tonight. Still have to add a little pestilent girth to the body. Not too much though.

Progress on the True-scale Death Guard Dark Apostle

I think there are still a lot of little things to be done however, he is mostly in shape as far as the majority of the work is concerned. Still needs some cables going from the speakers to the backpack as well as some random cables from body to backpack. Also considering some little spikes and shrunken heads. I was originally going to attach the shrunken heads to the curved horns/spikes coming out of the arm under the shoulder pads, but I think that may be too much going on in that one area. Shoulder pads are from Master Crafted Miniatures large should pads section, I totally love these things.

This piece is very much inspired by the work of Adrian Smith.

Drone WIP

Started building a mini Nurgle Drone for the Dark Mechanicum Dominus.

The Drone will need some green stuff pustules and wounds as well as more tubes and cables, but also, it will need thrusters. Still working on that;

Here is a shot with the Dominus for scale;

WIP it, WIP it real good...

Did a little more work this weekend and here are a couple more teaser WIPs of things I am working on in addition to the Dominus;

This is the Dr. He will be in the entourage of the Rogue Inquisitor I am working on...

Here is the Dr's assistant. This will be mounted on the Dr;

And, a Death Guard Dark Apostle, the smoking censor on the cursed croxius is just a place holder until I get the bit I want for it. As much as I think it looks awesome, the Dominus already has a weapon like it;

The blog awakens...

It has been awhile since my last update.

I was having a crisis of faith trying to figure out what the point was in continuing with the hobby. The cost has gone up dramatically, I am no longer near my old game/hobby group, the idea of getting any games in seemed futile and last but not least life just seemed to be getting in the way. During the last year I had still been visiting hobby sites and reading news. But I just couldn't seem to shake the apathy. After reading several different hobby blogs that were dedicated to just modeling interesting figures without the stress of in game usability (specifically Iron Sleet ) and seeing all these beautiful new GW kits, I started to feel the pulse come back.

I have picked up some bits and my trusty, if somewhat dull, x-acto and started cutting on several projects at once. As a teaser, here is a WIP of my Nurgle aligned Dark Mecanicum Dominus, with a couple of his Festering Embryites;
