i put together some bases for the WE's last night. i am not sure if i love or hate the mars effect i have going on. i may just go back to a more gray tone. the ruin bits are miscast scrap that my friends had from some of the hirst plaster kits.
here is a comp shot with kharn's base. it has more gray tones.

ReplyDeleteThe bases really do a nice job linking everything together... but you should have kept them on the paper clips. :)

ReplyDeleteSeveral years ago I found a great (cheap) set of wire cutters, it had blades on both sides at a 45deg angle so when you cut things like brass rod or paperclips it used 4 sides of pressure. It's so even, I can use hollow brass rod and not crimp it at all.
